Sophia is a 19-year-old lifelong Connecticut homeschooler. Her primary academic curriculum resources included Oak Meadow, Time4Learning, The Great Courses Plus, and many independent textbooks. Her personal passion was animal science. Because she had the freedom to make her own choices about what she wanted to learn, she spent years focusing on animal science. Her self-education in this area led to two articles on the topic of proper poultry husbandry. Both articles were published in an international farming community. In addition, she also was a student of gymnastics and figure skating for 14 years. Other areas of interest were horticulture, science, culinary arts, and running a mini-farm. She is currently a college student while working full time. She is a homeschool supporter and quickly says she would gladly do it all again! Homeschool success stories abound. Share yours!
