We can't do this without you

Please help keep CHN's membership free by supporting us through our fundraisers. CHN uses funds raised from these endeavors to pay for administrative costs such as maintaining our website,  the newsletter service, providing libraries with written materials about us, etc. CHN currently offers several very easy ways for you to financially help support homeschooling in CT, and the opportunity to help in other ways as well.

Newman's Own Organics collects used ink jet cartridges and pays up to $4.00 for each one donated. Newman's has made it very easy by providing us with postage paid envelopes which are bar-coded to ensure credit for our group. So donating to CHN in this manner is as easy as dropping your cartridge in a postage-paid envelope and mailing it off. Please contact Chrissy or Sheeva and they will get some to you right away.

Newman's Own Organics will also pay CHN $1.00 for each cell phone we collect, no matter how old it is. Many companies take only certain phones and no accessories, but with their emphasis on recycling, Newman's accepts all offerings. Many people change phones every year or so, and have unused phones stashed in a drawer somewhere...please put them to great use for CHN. Contact Chrissy or Sheeva to arrange your cell phone donations.

If you make purchases from Amazon.com, please link through to it from our website each time you do. Once you are through you can buy any item you like, either directly from Amazon, from their third party sellers, or from Amazon Marketplace sellers, and CHN will receive a percentage of the price you pay for your item(s).

The items do not necessarily need to have anything to do with homeschooling or education. For example they can be clothing items, kitchenware, or even appliances! Anything you put into your shopping cart, and within 24 hours finalize that transaction, will result in CHN receiving a portion of your purchase price.

Items you place in your shopping cart will remain there after 24 hours, however CHN will no longer get credit for them. So if you are inclined to do so, you can move items into your "save for later" area, return to our website to link through to Amazon, and simply move your saved items back into your cart to order those items with CHN in mind.

Additionally, your purchases are totally confidential. Amazon does not disclose who purchases items through the CHN link, even to CHN itself; Amazon secures your privacy.

So please consider bookmarking CHN's website as your Amazon portal, and start all of your Amazon shopping here.

If you use any of these (pdf) items, please consider saving the "Boxtops for Education"  to help earn funds for CHN.  Neatly clip the box tops from the packaging and send them to us in bundles of 50. You can either bundle them with a rubber band or send them in a small plastic bag. Then simply pop them into an envelope and send them to CHN.

CHN will be reimbursed 10 cents for each box top you clip and send to us. Those little box tops can really add up. It’s easy and it’s an effortless way to donate to CHN.

Finally, although CT Homeschool Network does not charge its members dues, we would never be foolish enough to turn down a donation! Please remember all monetary donations to CHN are fully tax deductible.
